Your timesheet
UTSA has changed how timesheets are entered by employees by using the new Time and Labor Employee (ESS) platform. Employees now enter timesheets directly into PeopleSoft ESS. The timesheet routes to your supervisor for approval in PeopleSoft. If you’d like to get paid, click HERE to learn how to log in and enter your time via PeopleSoft EES. If you are on work-study click HERE. Videos are approximately 4 minutes.
All-Staff Training
All the training listed below must be completed in order to be eligible to work. Review each section for how you will submit proof of completion. You will want to set aside about 2 hours to get through all of the online modules. Each module is separate so, break it up if you need to! Please Note: All official communication from Campus Recreation will go to your employee Email address (firstname.lastname@utsa.edu)

Cleaning Expectations While on Shift
Extra cleaning protocols for staff will remain in place. Click HERE to learn about what you will be expected to do while on shift. Complete the assessment at the bottom of this page once you have completed all training modules.
Communicating With Patrons
Patrons will have many questions about protocols and procedures. Click HERE to learn how to enhance your communication skills and navigate difficult conversations. Complete the assessment at the bottom of this page once you have completed all training modules.
Reminding patrons about proper safety protocols is everyone's responsibility. The more you practice, the less intimidating it is to address patrons when they violate a policy. Click HERE for additional concepts to help hone your skills when talking to patrons about our policies.
CPR, First Aid & AED Refresher
It’s been a while since we’ve been at the Rec and we need to be prepared to respond to emergencies. Some of you have expired certifications (more on that later). Click HERE for a refresher on important lifesaving practices! Complete the assessment at the bottom of this page once you have completed all training modules.
Almost There!
Now’s the time to test your knowledge. This assessment is comprehensive and includes questions from all three of the above training modules (Cleaning, Communication, and CPR). You cannot save your progress so, be prepared to complete everything in one sitting (don’t worry, it’s not long). We’ve got some tricky questions in there so, we hope you paid attention. You will need a passing score to return to work. Good luck!
DONE!
Please reach out to your supervisor for additional area-specific training details and expectations. See you at the Rec!
CPR/First Aid/AED Certification
If your CPR certification has expired, no worries! We’ve got in-person training sessions set up for you. More dates TBA. Contact your supervisor for more information on registering for First Aid/CPR/AED training.
