"I am so beyond grateful that I was given the opportunity to attend the
Wilderness First Responder Certification. Without assistance from the
Professional Development Fund, I am not sure how I would have the
capability to cover this course. I want to thank Campus Recreation for
allowing me to experience this event. It is truly a blessing, and I am so
excited to apply what I learned on future excursions."

"I am truly thankful to the Professional Development Fund for supporting
me with my Wilderness First Responder Certification. Through this
generosity, I acquired new skills, knowledge, and a better understanding of
risk management, which helped me support my program while creating a safe
environment. Such opportunities open the doors and allow students to
grow exponentially as community leaders."

"I am extremely thankful for the Professional Development Fund. The Fund
allowed me to grow professionally and personally in many different aspects.
I was able to attend conferences and events both in and out of the state.
The best part about receiving these funds was always being able to bring
back the information I learned from the events and pass it along to other
students so they could grow. I would not be where I am today if I never
received the funding, as it has provided a solid foundation to build my
professional career."
