2026 Homecoming Golf Tournament

The Department of Campus Recreation at the University of Texas at San Antonio is hosting the 2026 UTSA Homecoming Golf Tournament at Olmos Basin Golf Course on Friday, November 13, 2026.

The UTSA Homecoming Topgolf Tournament is more than just a game – it's a powerful opportunity to support the student leaders of tomorrow. Every sponsorship helps fund the Campus Recreation Professional
Development Fund, giving student employees access to transformative certifications, leadership training, and conference experiences.

Fee: $150/person or $600/team
Deadline: Thursday, November 5
Deadline for Apparel: Friday, October 23
Check-in: 12:00 PM
Time: 1:00 PM - 7:00 PM

The entry fee includes cart/green fees, fajita dinner, a premium Nike tournament apparel item, drink tickets, and the opportunity to win door prizes.

me attend courses to widen my Outdoor Recreation knowledge and grow
in leadership. My Wilderness First Responder Certification taught me
effective patient care in environments where resources are limited. And
in my Leave No Trace Instructor Course I learned interactive teaching
skills to care for outdoor spaces, that I have taken on trail and shared with

Series events. These events have enabled me to learn from professional
staff and referees from across the country and all levels of officiating. The
skills that I have learned during these tournaments have helped me both
be a better official in my own games, but also help me develop skills on
how to better lead and train student officials at Campus Recreation. I have
learned professional skills and have been connected to an ever-growing
network of student officials from across the nation. These tournaments
have helped me build the leadership and networking skills needed to be
successful throughout my professional career. The ability to learn and give
back to my program and community would not have been possible without

“I am extremely thankful to have received the Professional Development
Fund. This support made it possible for me to attend my first NIRSA Region
IV Conference, where I was able to meet other student leaders and attend
various workshops dedicated to team and personal growth. By attending
this conference with the help of the Professional Development Fund, I feel
like I have grown tremendously as a leader within my program, and I was
able to pass down some of the knowledge I gained from the conference
workshops to my peers. Since attending the conference, I feel like I have
grown into a better leader in my program as well as having the framework
