Adult Group Swim Lessons
Whether you want to learn to swim, exercise, or have fun, you will find something that meets your needs. We have experienced instructors who use the American Red Cross Learn-To-Swim program.
Adult Group Lesson Course Fact Sheet
Our friendly, experienced instructors will provide adults with guided instruction on various strokes to improve proficiency, comfort, and aquatic independence while giving positive reinforcement.
American Red Cross-certified lifeguards are always on duty during lessons. On the first day of lessons, the swim instructor assesses each student to ensure they are in the appropriate class. All classes occur in the Lap or Leisure Pool at the Recreation Wellness Center.
Group swim lessons include eight(8) 45 minute classes.

Course Participant Minimums
Classes with fewer than four participants will be canceled on the "Registration Deadline" date. If the course is canceled, the participant will receive a full refund.
Refund Policy
Participants may receive a full refund if requested 48 business hours before the course begins. If a refund is asked for within 48 business hours of the course, a $10 processing fee will apply.
Parking Information
All vehicles must register with Parking Services and correctly display the permit while the car is parked on campus. If you do not have a permit, the closest pay-to-park garage is the Ximenes Garage. It takes debit or credit, and it will cost $2/hr. For more information about parking, please get in touch with Campus Services or call (210) 458-7275.
